Position Summary:   New Graduate Registered Nurses will provide patient care under a preceptor.  Upon successful completion of New Graduate Registered Nurse orientation the New Graduate Registered Nurse will practice under the job description for the clinical area in which they successfully completed orientation. Hired candidates will be part of a 12-week RN Residency Program consisting of classroom and preceptor hours. Candidates must be able to work full time consistently throughout the 12-week program. - The registered nurse employs critical thinking to integrate objective data with knowledge gained from an assessment of the subjective experiences of patients. - Registered nurses use this critical thinking process to apply the best available evidence and research data to the processes of diagnosis and treatment. - Nurses continually evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and seek to optimize outcomes.
