SUMMARY - The Medical Receptionist is the first point of service for our patients coming into the practice and is responsible for greeting, registering and scheduling patient appointments. Responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and benefits. Collects co-payments and obtains routine financial information from various sources to obtain payment plan arrangements and Medicare coverage. He/she also answers the phone and acts as a primary source of information to patients in the waiting area. Obtains complex financial information regarding patients from various sources to obtain payment plan agreements, charity care, Medicare coverage, alternative financing and verifies coverage. May obtain prior authorizations for office visits and/or testing. May enter charge entry data as required. Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
The Medical Social Worker, MSW is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO, and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Functions under the general/minimal supervision of the Manager of Social Services. Through screening mechanisms, identifies patients who are at high risk for need of social service intervention. Provides psychosocial assessments, identifies problems/issues such as social, emotional, maturational (newborn through geriatric, depending on assignment) cultural, financial and/or legal followed by implementation of suitable interventions. Provides appropriate assistance to enable patients/families to utilize medical care in order to achieve the optimum levels of health. Assists Social Services Manager in planning programs, developing, and updating departmental policies and procedures. Previous hospital/medical social work experience preferred. Prior experience with critically ill infants/neonates preferred for NICU assigned Social Worker.
Master's Degree in Social Work Social Workers will complete Social Service Annual Competency Checklist during new hire Social Service orientation, then on an annual basis. This competency checklist outlines skills necessary to work with the neonate to geriatric patient population. NICU assigned Social Worker will receive annual education/training focusing on best practice in the NICU for Social Services. Must be able to: function independently; prioritize and organize workload; assess information in order to make appropriate decisions; build trust and respect; participate as a team player; relate to and work with the elderly, ill, disabled and/or emotionally impaired individual in the hospital environment.
The Medical Staff Meeting Coordinator is responsible for preparation of agendas, minutes and timely follow up for Medical Staff meetings; maintains and oversees all calendar coordination for meetings,
virtual platforms, and/or room set-up, notices, calendar scheduling, and facilitates Information Systems as needed. This position is responsible for ER Call Panel arrangements and maintains a system for
current documentation for medical staff expirables. In addition, some credentialing and re-credentialing functions are required. This position reports to the Director of Medical Staff Services.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the manager, Chief Technologist and Medical Director, the Medical Technologist performs clinical testing in one of more of the following areas: blood bank, chemistry serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, and/or microbiology.
- The Technologist obtains or receives specimens, performs laboratory tests according to written procedures, understands methods and principles, performs and evaluates quality control on a daily basis and informs the Chief Technologist or Laboratory Manager of problems.

The technologist performs preventative maintenance on instrumentation and interprets results as to their accuracy, acceptability and critical limits and organizing work to meet established deadlines and record all data obtained.

The technologist is also responsible for instruction of MT and MLT students.
Follows procedures and performs clinical testing within regulatory guidelines.
