Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is defined as a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. Utilizing a holistic approach the RN provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care. As a professional, the RN is responsible for providing team leadership and maintaining professional development. Core Duties:

The CN II in PACU serves as a resource person, preceptor, and relief charge nurse. Under minimal supervision, the CN II proficiently implements the nursing process for clients with complex diagnoses. Also may care for outpatient surgical patients through phase II recovery and discharge from hospital setting.
