The Rehabilitation Admissions Coordinator performs activities and duties related to pre-admission evaluation and admission of patients to the inpatient rehabilitation unit. The goal of the coordinator in this role is to identify patients who meet program criteria and who will benefit from an treatment in an acute rehabilitation program. Included in this role, is the ability to review medical records to gather information to complete the pre-admission screening tool to review the appropriateness of the patient for admission, with MD collaboration and case management to facilitate transfer in a timely manner; ensures that benefit authorization are completed as required; determines with nursing/others, bed and team assignments; builds relationships with external referral sources; gathers/tracks data to be utilized in planning; ensures compliance with regulatory/accreditation organization.

Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Technician works with a team of clinicians (physical and occupational therapist, speech pathologist and registered nurse), who are jointly responsible for the care of rehabilitation patients. The Rehabilitation Technician is an integral part of the team, providing personal care, specified treatment, transportation, and general assistance to an assigned group of patients. Responsibilities include following specific treatment plans, maintenance of equipment and supplies, and the documentation of treatment and charges as appropriate. Under the direct supervision of a registered therapist or nurse, demonstrates competency in the delivery of patient care to a general rehabilitation population, which can include adult and geriatric patients.
Minimum:
- Minimum of one-year acute care hospital or rehab setting patient care experience required.
- Completion of an approved Rehabilitation Aide program or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to perform basic nursing tasks as identified in Rehabilitation Technician competency skills checklist required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant, AND / OR successful completion of one year of nursing, OT, PT or Speech college level course work required.
- Ability to interpret type and level of patient care ordered, record patient vital signs, understand and follow basic patient care instructions, and perform simple arithmetic calculations in order to take and record patient weight, vital signs and graphics (intake/output) required.
- Current BLS certification required.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of physical, occupational, speech therapy and nursing principles for the rehabilitation setting preferred.
- College course work in nursing, Physical, Speech or Occupational Therapy preferred.

- Assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades
- Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, staging, and production environments
- Responsible for continually improving the release process
- Maintain/uphold a release repository/source to manage key information like build and release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies
- Research latest configuration management and software development technologies and analyze current configuration management requirements
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Communicate release details and schedules to various teams and stakeholders as required
- Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
- Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists
- Lead the development of scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms Develop processes and tools that encourage continuous performance improvements
- Display efficient work style with attention to detail, organization, and strong sense of urgency
- Coordinate with the release engineers in order to understand the consequences of code merges and branches.

Compensation Range: $49.20 to $63.96, hourly rates, annualized.
