Job Summary:
Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Registered PVL Tech performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and assumes responsibility for specific diagnostic sonographic procedures as required. This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Now is the time to JOIN our Registry RN's. Our Registry RN’s are required to sign-up to work a minimum of 3 shifts every two weeks and are paid on a weekly basis. Additional shifts maybe scheduled based on needs. This position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Candidates must be willing to float to Procedural areas as well as MS as needed
