Job Summary:   The Med-Surg/Tele/ICU Educator is accountable for providing educational expertise in medical-surgical/telemetry and intensive care nursing as well as assisting with education throughout the organization. As a recognized expert, the Med-Surg/Tele/ICU Educator acts as a mentor to the nursing staff, providing consultation and education. The Med-Surg/Tele/ICU Educator is responsible for the ongoing review, revision, and management of staff clinical competencies. Further, the Med-Surg/Tele/ICU Educator is responsible for conducting competency evaluations and for coordinating opportunities to match staff learning needs with patient care needs.
