Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor and the Clerical Supervisor, performs a variety of duties that assist both technical and clerical personnel. Transports patients to and from the emergency room/floor as necessary. Assist technologist with difficult patients. Performs PACS duties as assigned. Retrieves files from storage and purges files from current file room. Applies proper documentation to files or scan to PAC's. Understands and implements. HIPPA requirements. Assist Physicians/floors/staff with Image/report request. Assist Physicians and floor staff with image/report request. Assists Technologist with Patient Set up, transportation and PACS functions such a Catapult processes, Digitizing, CD Burning, profiling, Teleradiology, Archiving, Document Scanning and Downloading prior cases off a MOD. They can perform all clerical duties, sends imaging and information to clerical supervisor for a report. Operates the CR System and inputs information online.
Position Summary: Supervises diagnostic imaging department operations (e.g. nuclear medicine, MRI, Radiology, etc.) and ensures compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Assists with developing policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improves patient experience. Supervises personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. Maintains the safety of diagnostic imaging service equipment and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Supports diagnostic imaging services in compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures.
- Adopts and applies methods to measure, sustain and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services and improve patient experience.
- Supervises assigned personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training, and effective communication.
- Supports the activities to promote a safe environment in diagnostic imaging for patients, staff and the public.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs diagnostic procedures in the field of radiology including x-ray, fluoroscopy and Surgical procedures in a hospital setting. Position could also float to cover outpatient areas.
- Knowledge of: Anatomy and physiology (to include cross sectional when required).
- Medical terminology related to radiology.
- Principles of operation and care of radiological and diagnostic imaging equipment including C-arm.
- Practical knowledge of currently accepted radiological procedures.
- Radiation safety requirements and practices for the operator, patient and public. Image processing systems.
- Mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment.
- This position is hospital based for inpatient and emergency room support as well as outpatient locations.

Position Summary:

Under the direct supervision from the Technical Supervisor, Charge Technologist, Director of Imaging and indirect supervision from the Imaging Medical Director performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and department policies. Also performs a variety of other duties including scheduling procedures, answering telephones, and interacting with other departmental and hospital employees. Position Summary:
