This position may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sales devices, applications supporting credit card transactions and reports or other documents containing credit card information) from multiple transactions or reports and/or files containing bulk transactional information containing unencrypted or un-redacted credit card information and are required to comply with the Dignity Health credit card handling process.   Minimum:   - One (1) year hospital and/or emergency department patient registration experience required. - Three (3) years of patient registration experience in a non-acute setting may be substituted for the hospital and/or emergency department experience. - Graduation from High School or equivalent required. - Completes and maintains required unit specific training, such as training in the requirements providing "Advance Directive" information to patients upon admission and through understanding of EMTALA regulations.  - Participation in Admitting departement in-service training programs.  Preferred:   - Two (2) years hospital and/or emergency department patient registration experience preferred. Waiver of Requirements (internal Sequoia Hospital employees only):   - For Per Diem openings, patient registration experience may be waived for current Sequoia Hospital employees with knowledge of medical terminology, intermediate computer skills, and experience working with the public.
