The Clinical Data Support Analyst's role is to examine, evaluate, and prepare reporting for various business needs across the organization. This individual will use knowledge of reporting tools to develop reporting as required by the requesting department. The Clinical Data Support Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on recommended performance improvement business processes, and operation procedures. Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data (medical, financial, and quality) from internal and external systems, including designing reports and benchmarking results in a clear and concise manner, as well as aggregating, processing and interpreting report data for departmental and executive decision making in an effective and efficient manner. This individual will identify and then generate the data extractions from Meditech, HPM, HBI and Midas.
Methodist Hospital, a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking for a Respiratory Care Specialist to join their hospital staff. The Respiratory Care Specialist orients, teaches, and assures competency of Respiratory Care staff members. These areas of teaching include Transport, Pediatrics, and general floor therapy. The Respiratory Care Specialist teaches and certifies staff members in mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory care practices and modalities including PFT, EKG and stress test procedures, pressure control and inverse IE ratio ventilation, nitric patient assessment skills, and Respiratory Care by Protocols. The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care. This position also acts as a system administrator for MUSE, Heartlab and the EEG 1000 systems. This position functions as a working Respiratory Care Practitioner 20% of the time. This position functions as a working Respiratory Care Practitioner as needed
At least 3+ years experience working in a critical care setting and an AS in respiratory therapy or related field.
- Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 22 and CLIA standards
- Must be certified in basic life support, ACLS, PALS, NRP and RCP from the state of California
- Must be knowledgeable in cardio pulmonary resuscitation - Neonatal, Pediatric and Adult
- Knowledge of appropriate arterial blood gas analysis techniques, procedures and values, anatomy and physiology, cardio pulmonary disorders, treatment and management
- Knowledge of PFT testing, EKG and stress test procedures
- Must be familiar with advanced ventilatory techniques and computerized medical equipment.
- Ability to perform a complete cardio pulmonary patient assessment
- Ability to demonstrate equipment use to departmental staff and other hospital employees
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete records and develop quality assurance standards for specialty areas while teaching and certifying staff members in specialty skills.

SUMMARY: Provides basic level of patient care and treatments. Assists with obtaining vital signs, documents chief complaint and all actions taken. Alerts physician of problems/concerns/abnormalities. Assists with obtaining patient history, assists physicians and residents and/or licensed nursing personnel. Performs simple patient procedures, sets up exam/procedure rooms including instruments for minor procedures, prepares and may include administrating medications (excluding IV) under direct supervision of a physician. Obtains lab specimen and fills out requisitions completely and accurately. In addition to the above, the Medical Assistant II functions more independently and coordinates the workflow of MAs when necessary. Obtains authorization for referral (normally in small clinics). Conducts front desk duties such as registration, check-in and scheduling of patients.

Position Summary: Methodist Hospital, a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking for a Clinical Lab Scientist to add to their hospital staff. This position will perform chemical, microscopic, and/or bacteriologic tests and verifies results for use in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. The Clinical Lab Scientist should be able to demonstrate competency in patient testing for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Biological Science, with at least 1+ year internship experience in a hospital clinical laboratory
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of modern clinical laboratory techniques and procedures, aseptic technique and proper safe technique in the handling of hazardous materials and biological specimens
- Ability to trouble-shoot procedures and instrumentation and problem-solve effectively

The RN Care Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, facilitating and advocating for options and services through a continuum of care from point of contact through discharge on assigned patients.The RN Care Coordinator performs this role in such a manner as to meet the individuals health needs while promoting quality and cost effective outcomes. The positions emphasis will be on care coordination, communication and collaboration with nursing, physicians, departments within the medical center, insurers and post acute service providers to pace the care toward optimal outcomes within the appropriate level of care. The RN Care Coordinator will advocate for the patient and family by identifying and valuing patient choice, spiritual needs, cultural, language and socioeconomic barreris to care transitions . In addition, the RN Care Coordinator will protect confidentiality while striving to achieve high levels of patient satisfaction. The RN Care Coordinator consistently conducts the utilization review process and the discharge planning process as required by hospital policies, standards of practice and Federal and State regulations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting required. Prior Care Coordination experience in a clinical or insurance setting is required. If operational conditions permit, training a candidate without the required experience may be considered. A Masters Degree in nursing with a concentration in Case Management can serve as a substitute for the experience requirement. BSN degree preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge of the RN scope of practice, current state requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, EMTALA, Patient Bill of Rights, AB1203 and other federal or state regulatory requirement as specific to Utilization Review and Discharge Planning required Case Management Certification preferred. The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for performing social work assessments and interventions as needed for inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients.
