Offers suggestions and assists the Radiation Oncologist for optimal treatment planning procedures and protocols.     Facility and Equipment: We are a full-scale Varian site equipped with 3 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Gamma Knife, CyberKnife, ZAP-X, microSelectron HDR, and Flexitron HDR. Two Philips Big Bore CT scanners are located within the departments, and multiple MRI and PET/CT scanners across the facilities are used for treatment planning. We utilize Eclipse, Oncentra, Multiplan, and other planning systems for external beam, HDR, and stereotactic radiosurgery treatments. ARIA is our primary R&V system. We are involved with many institutional and national research protocols. The candidate will be joining a team of four dosimetrists and six physicists. The physics/dosimetry team serves St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center at Dignity Health, the internationally-renowned Barrow Neurological Institute (ranked Top 20 in the USA, located at the same campus), and a downtown cancer center campus located two miles away.

To assist in the training of echo technologists or students in the advancement of research and or general echocardiography.
