POSITION SUMMARY The CommonSpirit Health Legal Department (“Legal Department”) is responsible for the provision of legal services to, and for the management of the legal affairs of, CommonSpirit Health and its hospitals, subsidiaries and affiliated businesses, including but not limited to Dignity Health and the Dignity Health Medical Foundation (“CommonSpirit Health”).  The Corporate Counsel -- Physician Integration (“Corporate Counsel”): - Serves as a member of the Legal Department; - Is a team member and integral part of the Operations Team, the functional division of the Legal Department that primarily supports CommonSpirit Health’s acute care hospital and affiliated operations, including Dignity Health Medical Foundation and related physician integration and physician enterprise initiatives; - Reports to and performs services under the direction and supervision of the Vice President and Associate General Counsel – Operations (“AGC”), or his/her delegates, including Senior Counsel attorneys; and - Provides quality legal services and effective legal counsel in support of CommonSpirit Health’s physician integration and physician enterprise strategies and related business operations (“Physician Integration”) described in this Position Description in a manner consistent with CommonSpirit Health’s Mission and Core Values.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES The Corporate Counsel will have the following key duties, responsibilities and accountabilities: - To perform legal services for, represent and support CommonSpirit Health with regard to Physician Integration under the direction and supervision of the AGC, or his/her delegate, including, without limitation, matters related to support of the Dignity Health Medical Foundation, clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations, and similar or related entities; physician contracting, including negotiation and drafting of professional services agreements between Dignity Health Medical Foundation and medical groups; physician recruitment; physician employment; business and non-physician contracting; corporate, commercial, physician and business transactions; loans and financing transactions; the formation, operation and dissolution of joint ventures and other business organizations; physician practice acquisitions; legal/regulatory and compliance; and licensure, certification and accreditation. - To perform legal services for and support CommonSpirit Health, when and as appropriate or requested, on matters under the direction of the Legal Department’s other functional divisions. - To develop and/or enhance the Corporate Counsel’s expertise, and for the Corporate Counsel to be or become a subject matter expert, in specific legal, legislative, regulatory or health care topics, issues or arrangements relevant to Physician Integration or the other corporate functional areas supported by the Legal Department. Job Summary:   The Barrow Cleft and Craniofacial Center is seeking a Craniofacial Orthodontist for a part-time (0.40 FTE) opening.  The successful applicant will reflect the values of the Common Spirit Healthcare System and The Barrow Neurological Institute.  The BCCC is an ACPA approved Cleft and Craniofacial team with more than 10,000 patient visits per year.    The orthodontic practice delivers care from the newborn period through adulthood for patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial differences, trauma, and developmental delay.  A Craniofacial Fellowship and clinical research experience are desirable.    Duties will include delivering pre-surgical orthopedic care, designing and delivering appliances for correction, treatment planning, reading cone beam scans, oversee orthodontic residents, delivering comprehensive orthodontics for surgical and nonsurgical patients, participating in cleft and craniofacial team.
