Located in Chandler, Ariz., suburb of Phoenix, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,500 employees and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The C5 Medical Surgical unit at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 32 bed service line, with emphasis on orthopedic, surgical, and oncology, specialization. The RN staff work 12 hours shifts with ancillary staffing personnel. The unit works collaboratively with other disciplines for quality outcomes. Patient Care Conferences are held weekly, a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The staff encourage patient-family centered care. The unit is staffed based on acuity based staffing. There are 3 isolation rooms on unit, all private beds. **ONS Certification and ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire date.**
ONS ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Course,NS, "oncology certified nurse", "oncology nursing society", OCN
ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent
Current AZ State RN License in good standing.
Current American Heart Association BLS card.
ONS Certification Preferred Must obtain ONS Certification and ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire date.
