Job Summary:

 

This position will be part of the finance team that supports CommonSpirit Health’s Office of Transformation and Integration (OTI).   This position is responsible for ensuring/managing the quality, content, and integrity of the financials for OTI activities. This position will interact with operations and finance personnel across all lines of business and the organization. This position will report the Manager of OTI Finance

 

Essential Duties:

 

  • Works with the manager of OTI finance to validate assumptions and financial accuracy of implementation and integration plans submitted as part of the organization’s value capture and integration work
  • Provides finance support to all implementation team leaders
  • Maintains/updates financial baselines for each implementation team
  • In charge of creating and updating monthly/quarterly financial reports for implementation teams
  • Creates variance analysis to plans and provides rot cause analysis for performance
  • Works with manager to communicate to each implementation teams the financial performance and variance to plans
  • Assist with identifying operational trends and potential opportunities for performance improvement
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports and analysis for integration teams, SLG, OTI and other groups as necessary
  • Develops tools and processes to streamline the OTI Finance process workflow including macro impacts, team specific factors, and overall consolidation
  • Provides training and support for the tools utilized to create the OTI Finance reports

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area. MBA and/or CPA are preferred.

Experience (required and preferred):

  • Requires 3 to 5 years of Finance experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data analysis and validation
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple complex projects, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced service-oriented environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and independent thinker.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently complete assignments accurately and timely, with great attention to detail
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Hyperion, Lawson and other ERPs.
  • Team player with collaborative style
