    Responsibilities

    ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR – INSERVICE EDUCATION
    Northridge Hospital Medical Center
     
    The Administrative Coordinator reports to the Director of Inservice Education at Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC) and is responsible for providing office management and educational program support for all educational activities.  Primary administrative support is given to the Inservice Education staff and others who collaborate with the department on bi-campus educational activities. All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization.  The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner with respect and dignity. 
     
    Requirements: High School Diploma required. Some college coursework
    preferred. Demonstrated understanding of and ability to use computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).  3-5 years progressive office management experience.  Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.  Meeting/event coordination experience, including minute taking helpful. Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills required. Intermediate skill in word processing, spreadsheets, data entry and data base management preferred.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    • Minimum 3-5 years progressive office management experience required.
    • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Must have meeting/event coordination experience, including minute taking helpful.
    • Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills required.
    • Experience with contract management preferred.
    • Intermediate skill in data entry and data base management preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to use MS Outlook Computer Software Programs (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) at the intermediate to advanced level preferred.
    • Experience in using Microsoft Access desirable.
    • Fire Safety card required.
