    Overview

    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways.     Responsibilities

     

    What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role – Your Contribution & Career Journey

     

    The IT Security Analyst II, will be responsible for assisting with Process Information Security, Identity Management access requests and or operational incident tickets of medium to high complexity. Additional responsibilities will be to perform medium to complex operational tasks related to access control, following established processes for common request and issues, network and endpoint- security-systems and /or Security Risk Management processes. In addition the  IT Security Analyst II will pro-actively identify and escalates incidents and operational performance concerns. Provides assistance and support as requested to Security Engineering, IDM Engineering, Network Engineering, and/or the ISIRT SOC.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Someone who can pro-actively identify and escalate incidents and operational performance concerns.
    • Responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining network and endpoint security systems.
    • Performs triage function, rerouting requests and incidents as appropriate.
    • Functional understanding of regulatory and compliance manages- HIPPA, HITECH, PCO, Sarbanes- Oxely preferred
    • Manage workload, prioritizing tasks and documenting time, and other duties as directed by management.
    • Provides assistance when needed on operational incidents and in root-cause analysis efforts to determine improvement opportunities when failures occur.
    • Processes requests, troubleshoots and resolves operational incidents involving network and endpoint security systems. Escalates Information Security Incidents to the ISIRT SOC.
    • Responsible for processing inbound Information Security Incidents from MSSP SOC, Field teams, Site Directors, Compliance/Privacy, Help Desk and others
    • Processes events, data, and information output from these systems, identifying incidents as well as operational performance concerns.
    • Performs incident research, resolution, and managed escalation, occasionally assisting in complex, high-profile incidents.
    • Responsible for processing inbound Information Security Incidents from MSSP SOC, Field teams, Site Directors, Compliance/Privacy, Help Desk, and others.
    • Processes requests, troubleshoots and resolves operational incidents involving network and endpoint security systems. Escalates Information Security Incidents to the ISIRT SOC.
    • Responsible for processing inbound Information Security Incidents from MSSP SOC, Field teams, Site Directors, Compliance/Privacy, Help Desk, and others.
    • Processes events, data, and information output from these systems, identifying incidents as well as operational performance concerns.
    • Performs incident research, resolution, and managed escalation, occasionally assisting in complex, high-profile incidents.
    • Responsible for processing inbound Information Security request and incident tickets.
    • Processes and assists peers with requests, troubleshoots and resolves operational incidents involving network and endpoint security systems.  
    • Assists in formal and informal security and vulnerability assessments
    • Provides networking and information security services for internal and external network infrastructure.
    • Responsible for operational incident research, resolution, and managed escalation, occasionally troubleshooting complex, high-profile incidents.
    • Provides assistance when needed in root-cause analysis efforts to determine improvement opportunities when failures occur.

    Qualifications

     

     

    • 1-2 years’ experience in related job area (IT support, information security, identity/access management, IT Audit, forensics/eDiscovery) strongly preferred Experience in UNIX/Linux OS and/or Cisco IOS preferred. 3+ years’ of relevant field experience required.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in programing or system/network operations and administration preferred.
    • Experience in Windows Office (Work, Excel, etc.) required.
    • One or more relevant technical/professional security certifications (such as: COMP-TIA Network+ , Security+, SANS GIAC, CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or vendor-specific) preferred.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes.
    • Ability to interact and build strong relationships at peer level required.
    • Aptitude for learning new applications and technology.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Conceptual Thinking
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Employs basic concepts, practices, and procedures relating to process analysis and design.
    • Solicits information on enterprise direction, goals and industry competitive environment to determine how own function can add value to the organization and to customers.
    • Ability to plan and account for impacts of system development efforts across architectural system components, critical business processes, data and applications.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in an IT role supporting healthcare or hospital/medical industry preferred.
    • Experience in a large corporate environment preferred.
    • Knowledge of health care environments preferred.
    • Knowledge of troubleshooting, mitigating risk
    • Basic skills in Adobe InDesign preferred
