The Clinical Neurophysiology (CNP) Labs at the world renowned Barrow Neurological Institute are currently looking for a full time EEG technologist to complement their growing team. The CNP labs contain a 5 lab outpatient center with EP, a 12-bed EMU, and one of the most active LTMU centers in the country. We are looking for a well-rounded tech that is comfortable with the changes that come with a growing and developing lab. Modalities and procedures covered include inpatient and outpatient routine EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, EMU monitoring, LTMU monitoring, sEEG, source localization mapping, PET, WADA, SSEP, VEP, ERG, and BAER. We are developing our HDEEG and SPECT programs. We also train students from the local EEG program in their rotations. The department is covered 24/7 with some call. Shifts are night and day for 12 hours each for 3 days per week from 6-6. Day shift on the weekends is covered by call at this time.
Graduate from an accredited ASET program or 2 years current work experience in EEG, Evoked Potentials or Clinical Long Term Monitoring. Certificate of completion from an accredited ASET program for EEG or AAS degree in Electroneurodiagnostics from an accredited ASET program.
