    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Dignity Health MSO accomplishes this by capitalizing on industry-leading technology and integrated administrative systems powered by local human resources that put patient care first.

    The Southern California Integrated Care Network (SCICN) is a clinically integrated physician network sponsored by Dignity Health. The Administrative Assistant is an employee of Dignity Health Management  Services (DHMSO). 


    This individual provides direct local service area support to the CI program and is responsible for performing a wide variety of  tasks in support of the program’s Executive Leadership Team, including to support other members of the SCICN team as directed by the Executive Director of SCICN.  The person in this poitions will be relied upon to think independently and exercise a good deal of important judgment and discretion in this key role.





    • Coordinates meetings and prepares agendas and minutes for the Board of Managers and various committees. Schedules meetings and appointments. Keeps department schedules current.
    • Manages projects of moderate to highly skilled nature for executive(s), and or administrative team. Serves as a facilitator to ensure assigned projects are completed in a timely manner.
    • Prepares reports, statistical data reports and other documents as requested. Processes and mails project statuses
    • Exercises initiative on behalf of and in best interest of the Executive Director of SCICN and department.
    • Organizes and maintains files, protocols and records.
    • Demonstrate ability to problem-solve in routine and non-routine situations
    • This position may require you to work remotely; however, excludes working from home.
    • Demonstrate tact, courtesy and a positive attitude consistently in communication and interaction with other employees, visitors, physicians, directors and the public.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    • Performs complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support for SCICN executive. Prepares meeting agendas and transcribes meeting minutes. Independently composes letters, memos and reports. Maintains calendars and schedules.
    • Accurately utilizes equipment and software to perform complex tasks. Accuracy in typing, spelling, grammar and filing. Operational knowledge of equipment required to perform essential function of position. Screens information and routes calls correctly.

    • Serve as an effective resource/liaison for managers, physicians, the public and other employees.

    • Assist with other communications to network physicians.

    • Scan all pertinent documents to a shared network drive to assure current documents are available to all constituents required to support the SCICN CI Program.

    • Responds in a timely manner to all correspondence, including telephone calls, e-mail messages and written correspondence and forwards to appropriate Executive, as appropriate.

    • Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure operational functionality of the Executive Leadership Team.
    • Maintain records and ensures compliance with documented policies and procedures.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-5 years secretarial and administrative support of senior level executives, preferably in health care or health related field. 
    • EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School diploma required, College degree preferred.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must possess a high degree of propriety in dealing with confidential situations, documents and information on a daily basis.
    • Detail-oriented and analytical skills required.
    • Must possess excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and possess superior organizational skills.
    • Type 60 words per minute or more, strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint).
