    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Dignity Health MSO accomplishes this by capitalizing on industry-leading technology and integrated administrative systems powered by local human resources that put patient care first.

    What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role – Your Contribution & Career Journey

    Creates and leads an organizational compliance and privacy structure which enables Dignity Health facilities, entities, business units, and affiliates to reasonably implement, monitor and enforce a program to prevent and detect criminal or unlawful conduct, and ensure activities relative to Medicare, Medicaid, and other government programs are conducted in a manner consistent with program requirements.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Creates and leads an organizational compliance and privacy structure which enables Dignity Health facility
    • Functions as the primary point of contact with external entities on compliance and privacy matters including but not limited to business partners, regulatory and accrediting agencies, internal/external auditors and State and Federal agencies, including oversight of government settlements and agreements.
    • Assesses organizational performance, business initiatives, services, delivery models, and behaviors and identifies operational issues impacting compliance and privacy. Develops plans, policies and process change designs to prevent, mitigate or correct regulatory risk.
    • Leads Compliance Directors and analysts to support compliance and privacy programs in all service lines and corporate functional areas.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a management-level (administrative, financial or clinical) position in a hospital or healthcare system.
    • Minimum of seven (7) years’ working experience in one or more areas of healthcare compliance, including privacy, in either an acute care or clinic environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field (such as Healthcare Information Management, Hospital Leadership or Nursing) or business.
    • Certification in Compliance and Privacy (CHC and CHPC or CHPS) - must be completed within one year (required)
