An experienced Registered Nurse, who is responsible for assessing the physical, and psychosocial needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS. The RN works closely with the healthcare providers in assisting with all aspects of the patients' healthcare. The RN provides medical case management and serves as the primary contact for assigned patients. The RN must be acquainted with policies and procedures that are directly involved with the current standards of care in treating patients with HIV/AIDS including medication combinations specific to HIV.
