    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service.     What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role – Your Contribution & Career Journey

    The incumbent is a front line member of the Human Resources team responsible for supporting the Human Resources Leadership team on the full range of operational Human Resources activities within the facility and/or service area. The incumbent performs a hands-on role in providing human resources expertise in employee and labor relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, training and other HR activities. The incumbent supports specific groups, functions and/or geographies, and embeds self within the business to work closely with management and employees. The incumbent is also instrumental in initiating and driving HR programs/initiatives. The incumbent will also assist with employee engagement activities, advising leaders on and ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures and practices. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the efficient implementation of a single Dignity Health Human Resources delivery model which aligns the facility HR structure, processes and systems with Service Area HR strategies. The incumbent serves as an HR operational leader for the facility, ensuring all HR functions and activities enable business success. The incumbent assists the HR leadership team in continually refining the role of Human Resources within the facility/service area to assist in achieving their operational and strategic goals. Along with all other HR Leadership the incumbent will align and partner with and fully utilize the resources of all the COE's embedded in the service area or at the corporate level to ensure that together they provide and develop unique insights and great depth of expertise in the area of focus in order to partner with leaders to develop values based strategic solutions.





    1. At least five years of HR experience, preferably in a HR Generalist, Consulting or Business Partner role with leadership experience.
    2. Two years of focus on an HR specialty area such as employee and labor relations, OD, compensation talent acquisition or other related HR.
    3. Working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws, FMLA, HIPAA, ADA, COBRA and Affirmative Action Programs.
    4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel required. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    5. PHR preferred.

    What we're looking for


    1. Responsible for meeting all of the DHMSO Job Standards described below.
    2. Develops and administers various human resources programs for the company. May include orientation, employee recognition, wellness, and safety (as examples).
    3. Assists in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; maintains and updates employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
    4. Assists with the administration of company compensation and performance management programs. Assists in completing salary and benefit surveys, tracks performance appraisal completion, and maintains current job description database. 
    5. Monitors and maintains HR intranet portal. Ensures information is up-to-date and accurate. Maintains company organization charts.
    6. Assists in evaluation of processes and results of the department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Tracks and regularly reports on key HR metrics and processes.
    7. Answers questions and responds to requests for information on general HR issues. Provides support to employees and management by answering questions regarding wages, benefits, and company policies.  Refers difficult or potentially risky issues to Manager.
    8. Participates in developing and meeting department goals and objectives.
    9. Performs other related duties as required.

    Physical Requirements

    Position requires ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on computer, talking on the phone and performing most work duties.  Must be able to stand and walk to attend meetings, collect documents from printer/copier, and carry files.  Must be able to use hands and fingers to enter data into computer, dial telephone, and grasp files and reports.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 5 pounds to transport files, reports and office supplies.  Must be able to talk and hear to converse in person and on the telephone.  Requires close up vision to read and work on computer, ability to adjust focus when changing tasks and peripheral vision while ambulating around the building.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
