    Position Summary:
    The Respiratory Care Practitioner III is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients ranging in age from birth to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame and the RCP will provide safe, therapeutic care for these patients by the use of self, the patient care process, the environment and other health care team members.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 0-1 year as an RCP in an acute care facility
    • Experience with pediatric care, newborn/nursery care, bipap/sipap/ventilatorcare . Current State of California RCP Certificate
    • Registered RRT
    • Current PALS,NRP,BLS and ACLS certifications

    Assumes 12-hour shift responsibility and accountability for providing respiratory care for patients. Collaborates with other health professionals to provide, coordinate, monitor and document care. Meets patient/family needs in a cost-effective manner through efficient use of resources.
