    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways.  Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing  costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service.     Arizona Care Network (ACN) is a clinically integrated (CI) physician network and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) sponsored by Dignity Health and Abrazo Health, a Tenet company.  The Project Manager is an employee of DHMSO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dignity Health. Under indirect supervision the incumbent is accountable for the project objectives. They define areas of responsibility including resource allocation, influencing sponsors and manage work prioritization. The incumbent plays an active role in making decisions involving resource assignments, prioritization, technical and financial requirements necessary to implement changes, upgrades, and applications for Arizona Care Network. The incumbent assists in the design processes and structures to support region-wide or facility changes, such as review and analysis of existing workflows for recommendation of best solution for improvements, implementation and/or upgrades of technology systems.


    The incumbent is expected to work autonomously on projects and on tasks supporting the ACN Key Accounts Director leadership. Through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrates team leadership while focusing on items that will have project outcome implications other than expected. The incumbent must have the ability to manage and maintain business sponsor relationships, and navigate political and process landscape.


    The incumbent directs by exception and they are expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the project manager/business analyst (BA) and clinical informatics (CI) teams in the service area. The incumbent will be assigned to multiple projects, assist with project oversight for all projects affecting the service area, and may also be assigned to work with the ACN Key Accounts Director  on strategic planning for the Network. This position reports to the Key Accounts Director for Arizona Care Network.


    What We're Looking For:

    • Incumbents are responsible for the management of a process including related projects and resources as assigned and may be responsible for the supervision of professional, technical and administrative support staff assigned to the process.
    • Directs and consults with project team members, leadership in the preparation of project documentation, deliverables, product backlogs, milestones, resources, schedules and budgets.
    • Requires leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
    • Often leads Project team(s) comprised of, project coordinators, business analysts, applications analysts, product owners, quality assurance and developers.
    • Removes barriers between technical architects, product owners, and key stakeholders to drive delivery.
    • Improves productivity of development teams (including development partners) through facilitation and management of various project and/or product delivery methodologies
    • Responsible for driving and communicating status of project and/or product delivery
    • Helps the team to continuously improve their process.
    • Facilitates creation of the Project plans and establish timelines
    • Maintains comprehensive project documentation
    • Ensures back-up resources are available for smooth project functioning
    • Helps technical team in definition of the Done Criteria and with facilitating meetings
    • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience required
    • 3 years of relevant healthcare project management experience
    • 3+ years experience in Healthcare Project Management

    Additional Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to develop strategic business cases for departmental or project specific initiatives
    • Ability to work with little to no direction
    • In depth knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network, integration, workflow)
    • In depth knowledge of the architectural system components, business processes and applications to minimize the impact of changes in software, hardware, network, interfaces and environment
    • Ability to manage business sponsor relationships, and navigate political landscape.
    • Understanding of Finance, Accounting and contracting principles in relation to project budgets, purchasing and analysis of financial results and vendor relationships
    • Expertise in several technical domains (i.e. application development, network, database, and infrastructure) is strongly preferred
    • Decisiveness/Ability to make a quick assessment of the scope of an issue and provide options for its success and closure (provide risk assessment, resource requirement, ROM & ROI)
    • Ability to develop strategic business cases for departmental or project specific initiatives
    • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project & Word as well as ZenDesk or similar ticketing system
    • In depth knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network)
    • In depth knowledge of the architectural system components, business processes and applications to minimize the impact of changes
    • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology or healthcare sector
    • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
    • Superior client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project & Word
    • Negotiation skills, Team Leadership, Communication for results

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
    • PMP Certification a plus
