    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways.  Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Dignity Health MSO accomplishes this by capitalizing on industry-leading technology and integrated administrative systems powered by local human resources that put patient care first.

    Responsibilities

    Arizona Care Network (ACN) is a clinically integrated (CI) physician network and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) sponsored by Dignity Health, a Tenet company.  The Manager of the Quality reports to the ACN Director of Practice Transformation and is an employee of Inland Health Organization of Southern California, Inc., doing business as Dignity Health Management Services Organization, a physician support organization.

     

    The Manager of Quality provides expertise in the areas of clinical process improvement methodologies, quality metrics, and local and national quality initiatives related to the Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Clinical Integration (CI) Programs, and Medicare Advantage plans including strategies to manage a successful Stars Rating program and HCC/RAF capture processes.  This position also directly oversees the Quality Data Abstraction Quality Assurance Specialists.

     

    What we’re looking for:

    • Under the direction of the Director of Practice Transformation, the Manager is external facing and manages Quality Data Abstraction and Quality Assurance Specialists
    • Oversees the daily, onsite, management activities of the Quality Data Abstraction and Quality Assurance Specialists staff:
    • Staff mentoring, coaching, supporting, and counseling.
    • Developments and implementation of performance improvement plans.
    • Daily staffing and panel management in alignment with the fidelity of the Mercy Care Clinic model
    • TEAM timecard oversight.
    • Regularly performs documentation audits.
    • Implementation of network strategies to achieve quality metric achievement as outlines by value based arrangements including successful RAF/HCC capture.
    • Acts as a liaison for ACN with appropriate involvement and escalation to ACN director and executives.
    • Work closely with the Director of Practice Transformation in developing and adhering to policies related to quality metric achievement, clinical performance improvement and population health activities.
    • Facilitate stakeholder participation in program with on-going education and technical assistance.
    • Act as a subject matter expert/liaison for quality metrics value based coding activities related to ACN business operations.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Associate’s Degree  in Nursing or other healthcare related field required
    • 3 years’ experience with providing supervision to health care professionals in the field of quality within a physician practice, medical facility, hospital or healthcare organization.
    • 3 years direct experience in quality metric management.
    • Experience functioning as a leader, team decision maker, managing projects, deadlines, creating and writing professional reports and documents.

    Additional Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to form strong professional relationships with members, providers and outside stakeholders.
    • Strong relationship skills, including proficiency in Motivation Interviewing.
    • Superior customer service skills for coordinating service delivery including attention to members, sensitivity to issues, proactive identification and resolution to issues to promote positive outcomes.
    • Computer literacy in order to navigate through electronic medical record, internal/external computer systems, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in health field
    • CPHQ Certification a plus
