    Responsibilities

    Must hold a current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS: (AB) (OB/GYN) & RVT (VT)) certificate and current BLS from the AHA. Must have at least two years experience as a staff technologist in a hospital setting. Have a combination of education, experience, and inter-personal skills which will provide the following skills and abilities:
    Knowledge of: ultrasound physics and instrumentation; anatomy and physiology for medical imaging including cross-sectional relationships; medical terminology relating to medical imaging; currently accepted diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures; principles of the operation of ultrasound equipment; film processing systems; mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment.

    Qualifications

    • Must have at least two years experience as a staff technologist in a hospital setting.

    • Current BLS from the AHA.
