    Position Summary;


    Under supervision of the Medical Director of Neurology, performs all aspects of various neurodiagnostic testing reporting results to clinicians in accordance with accepted patient care standards.

    ***The ideal candidate will be available to work Saturdays to cover Saturday clinics.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Graduate and a Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Program Accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education or equivalent formal training. Or registry eligible with 3-5 years experience in EEG/Evoked Potentials/EMG-Nerve Conduction Studies.
    • Ability to collect diagnostic quality data and generate the appropriate reports for physician interpretation.
    • Ability to organize and adjust priorities accordingly.
    • Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot all associated equipment.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management and other employees.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for excellence in the care of patients and provision of timely and quality service.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Operational knowledge of all involved neurodiagnostic equipment.
    • Ability to ascertain clinically sound diagnostic studies.
    • Effective clinical interaction regarding studies with ordering physicians.
    • Knowledge of safety standards for neurodiagnostic testing.
    • Maintain current CPR. Maintains all applicable certifications and licensures.
    • Maintains accurate records as required.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information.
    • Adheres to all policies and procedures as they apply to study performance and safety, attendance and personal appearance.
    • Sustains productive workload of scheduled studies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of experience
