    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    Mercy Hospital of Folsom, a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking for an Office Assistant II to join their hospital staff. The incmbent schedules patient procedures, answers phones and directs calls as needed, greets outpatients, processes patient information. May access medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.

    The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy Hospital of Folsom and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least 1+ year of office experience in the medical field.
    • Competent in caring for neonates, pediatrics, adults and geriatrics.
    • Knowledge of Medical terminology, computer keyboard.
    • Ability to demonstrate computer skills, communicate well with others.

     

    Preferred:

    • Radiology and/or hospital experience.
