    The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service.     Arizona Care Network (ACN) is a clinically integrated (CI) physician network and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) sponsored by Dignity Health and Abrazo Health.  The Key Account Manager is an employee of Dignity Health Managed Services Organization (DHMSO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dignity Health.


    The Key Account Manager reports to the ACN Director of Key Accounts, and is responsible for performing a wide variety of business program operations, project management, and client relations/account executive tasks that directly interface with key employer and payer accounts.


    Client Management / Relations: The Key Account Manager serves as the primary liaison for assigned employer/payer relationships and is accountable for client servicing, contract execution / performance, and related project objectives, to include defining areas of responsibility for himself/herself and other colleagues/departments on project activities, allocating resources, collaborating with sponsors and managing work prioritization.



    • Strategic Account Management / Client Relations:
    • Serves as the primary liaison for assigned employer/payer relationships and is accountable for client servicing, contract execution and performance, and related project objectives.
    • Accountable for the detailed planning of steps and resources needed to meet program/contract objectives while managing multiple payer/employer projects simultaneously.
    • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
    • Acts as the owner of the client relationship, accountable for ultimate client satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Establishes productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
    • Oversees and ensure timely resolution of client issues/requests.
    • Effectively communicates relevant project information and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Directs and consults with project team members and leadership in the preparation of project documentation, periodic status reports, deliverables, and schedules.
    • Prepares and presents status updates to management, and the ACN Board of Managers and Committees as necessary.
    • Ensures effective and efficient contractor and vendor support and relations.
    • Participates in the bid/renewal process, preparation, and presentation for current and prospective clients.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    EXPERIENCE:    A minimum of five plus (5+) years successful healthcare or business experience. Minimum two years’ experience managing high profile projects or initiatives, and leading account client relations activities. Experience with benefit administration, referral process, utilization management.


    EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Bachelor’s or advanced degrees preferred (e.g. MBA, MPH, etc.)


    LICENSE, CERTIFICATION:  Project Management Professional certified and/or Certified Change Management Professional certification and /or LEAN Six-Sigma certification preferred.


    SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:  Highly self-motivated and self-directed. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building-skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and motivate others. Must possess a high degree of propriety in dealing with confidential situations, documents and information on a daily basis. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and issues from a variety of perspectives. Possess superior organizational skills. Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines.
