    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Event Project Coordinator will play an integral role through effective planning, organization and implementation of all Foundation special events and related activities. The position will collaborate with all foundation staff, board members, volunteers, sponsors, participants, and event vendors. Have the flexibility to work an adjusted schedule that includes weekend and evening hours when necessary.  Under the Director of Philanthropy and Manager of Special Events, this position will undertake all logistic coordination for fundraising events and cultivation activities.  

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 or more years of verifiable experience in accounting, marketing, event management, operations, or administration, preferably for a non-profit organization.  
    • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Communications or a related field of study such as Marketing.  
    • Knowledge of general fundraising practices. 
    • This candidate should have demonstrated experience in event management, specifically; setting up systems, working with volunteer leaders and producing all aspects on an event/activity.
    • Will need to operate a CRM data management system. 
    • Candidate must have strong computer skills including experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Raisers Edge/CRM preferred.
    • Graphic and web design experience is a plus. 
    • Must be accurate and have the ability to multi task.
    • Strong customer service skills are required and the candidate should have the ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment.
    • Remaining calm under pressure while staying focused and organized is a must.
    • Tackle responsibilities with an eye to improve, innovate and creatively solve problems for future events.
