    Dignity Health's Home Health Services department in Mt. Shasta offers many services, including iv therapy, medical care, and wound care.  As part of the Mercy Medical Center Redding Dignity Health, the Mount Shasta Home Health department is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care and access to Mount Shasta and nearby communities.  

     

    Dignity Health North State includes three hospitals providing expertise in cancer care, heart care, maternity, neurology, orthopedics, Telestroke Technology and wound care covering six counties:  Mercy Medical Center Redding, Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital (Red Bluff).  We have a premier health care system and are located in a beautiful setting near mountains and the Sacramento River Valley.

    Responsibilities

    The Physical Therapist participates as a member of the health care team, working with professional and non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients, addressing the age of the patients served.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1 year experience as a physical therapist 
    • Current CA Physical Therapy licensure
    • Knowledge and ability to perform current physical therapy techniques
    • Knowledge of physical therapy standards, procedures and principles
    • Ability to operate physical therapy equipment for patient care
    • Ability to implement practical application of knowledge
    • Ability to work independently and autonomously
    • Ability to teach and instruct patients, caregivers and staff
    • BLS certification
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1 year home health experience
