    Position Summary:


    Supervises Security personnel on assigned shifts in carrying out planned activities of the security program as well as any authorized duties relating to emergency management functions.


    Core Duties:

    • Maintains a comprehensive inspection, test and maintenance program for all security physical and electronic measures. Follows up on pending security issues
    • Implements requirements of the Security Management Plan. Manages and coordinates responses to critical incidents. Monitors and documents actual and potential security breaches
    • Monitors existing security systems and technologies for possible security leaks or fraud
    • Conducts ongoing security orientation and training of assigned staff and may serve as Field Training Officer


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to obtain a valid State Guard Card
    • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a security officer involving extensive public contact
    • Knowledge of Life Safety, TJC CMS and OSHA regulations and standards.
    • Workplace violence training within 6 months of employment. Completion of NIMS compliant ICS 100HC, 200HC, & 700 courses or state equivalent.
    • CPR BLS & HA Certification within 90 days of employment. I
    • nternational Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) Basic course within 90 days of employment
    • IAHSS Supervisor course within six months of employment
