Marian Regional Medical Center, located in Santa Maria, CA, is nationally ranked among the top 10% in the nation for safety core measures in Cardiac Services and has the only comprehensive Cancer treatment and resource program from Los Angeles to San Francisco. In April 2012, Marian opened its doors to a brand new state-of-the-art facility which houses the latest technology to support excellent physicians and caregivers who deliver compassionate care each and every day. Marian's new hospital includes 191 beds, expanded and enhanced Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, NICU and women's services.

This Central Coast Service Area Position manages work from all facilities within the Service Area as well as the Surgery Centers and Pacific Central Coast Health Center sites. Serves as primary support from the Medical Staff for all Medical Staff departments, services and committee meetings. Coordinates and provides administrative and clerical support for the Medical Staff Office.



Selection Criteria

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills in Word, Excel and other data entry processes required.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist by the National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills with computers and various software programs.
  • Must be well-organized for prioritization of responsibilities and detail-oriented.
  • Must have independent judgment skills and be able to cope with interruptions and rush projects.
  • Must be able to establish effective working relations with the Medical Staff and other hospital departments.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
