    This position will assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. 


    General Surgery is seeking a RN to work as a member our Surgical Services team in our designated Level 1 trauma center. We do a variety of cases from General, GYN, Urology, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Robotics, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Vascular and Dental. Our 12 newly renovated rooms are spacious and loaded with the state of the art technology (SI & XI robots). The partnership we have developed with our Surgeons and Anesthesiologist has created a culture of “Family” and “Unity”. Did you know our team has over 600 years of Operating Room experience? Our team is made up of RNs, Scrub Techs, Equipment Techs, Anesthesia Techs, an Inventory and Coordinator II as well. We are very proud of the work we do and the support we provide.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    Must have operating room experience

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
    Basic Computer Skills
    AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
    BLS certification (American Heart Association)
    ACLS certification (in monitored areas)

    Preferred:

    One year recent acute care experience
    BSN
    Professional certification in area of specialty
