    Responsibilities

    This person assists residents laundering clothes, or washes and dries clothes for residents and Environmental Services Department by performing assigned responsibilities. The person in this position is expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican
    Oaks and to apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy while performing daily job tasks.

    Qualifications

    Experience Required:

    • One to three months related experience and/or training
    • OR equivalent combination of education and experience

    Education Required:

    • High school diploma or GED

    Special Skills Required:

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as saftey rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Ability to write routine notes
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
    • Ability to demonstrate basic math skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate good judgement and problem solving skills

    Licensure/Certification Required:

    • Current BLS certification, required within 90 days of hire CT CPRBLS
    • Current First Aid certification, required within 90 days of hire CT FSTAID
