Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Will assist in various aspects of the hospital's financial reporting including: a) Projecting hospital volumes, revenues and expenses for continued operations and business plans for new operations b) Assisting senior leadership and the CFO in analyzing hospital, foundation and joint ventures results of operations and financial position and recommending areas of improvement c) Comparing monthly operating results of the hospital with other Dignity Health hospitals, industry benchmarks and competitors d) Analyzing, researching and preparing reports, including narrative explanations on departmental quarterly and prior year variances. Will assist in the development and maintenance of the hospital productivity reporting system including: a) Accumulating and tracking departmental productivity and other benchmarking information, b) Reporting results to Administrative Director/Finance, department managers and senior hospital management.
