    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for the operating room front desk duties. Responsibilities may include:

     

    • Inputting charges, scheduling the cases, communication duties associated with the Operating Room schedule and supply requisition.
    • Assisting the Buyer with inventory procurement, rectifying invoices, and maintaining par levels.
    • Works with staff, physicians, and physician offices to insure that patients are served in the most timely and efficient manner possible. 
    • Covers the desk and deals directly with the offices in regards to the daily schedule and availability of supplies.  
    • Responsible for producing and distributing reports and schedules as requested and in a timely fashion. Performs other tasks in order to help Operating Room run efficiently as assigned.

    Minimum:

     

    • Requires 2 years of experience general secretarial or reception experience. 

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Hospital experience is preferred.

    Qualifications

    The position requires 2 years of experience general secretarial or reception experience. Hospital experience is preferred. Completion of annual competencies and unit specific training.
