Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services.
The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles.
DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs.
Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Super User of EMR & EPM (Allscripts & GE Centricity). Provides mentoring of new hires, as appropriate, and acts as an internal on-the job resource and support for other EMR & EPM users. This floating back and front office position also assists with referrals and authorizations, as well as work tasks as needed. Provides basic level of patient care and treatments. Assists with obtaining vital signs, documents chief complaint and all actions taken. Alerts physician of problems/concerns/abnormalities. Assists with obtaining patient history, assists physicians and residents and/or licensed nursing personnel. Performs simple patient procedures, sets up exam/procedure rooms including instruments for minor procedures, prepares and may include administrating medications (excluding IV) under direct supervision of a physician. Obtains lab specimen and fills out requisitions completely and accurately. In addition to the above, the Medical Assistant III functions more independently and coordinates the workflow of MAs when necessary. Also conducts front desk duties such as registration/insurance verification, check-in and scheduling of patients.
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or completion of a U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program
Candidates who completed a program prior to February 2, 2000 can satisfy the minimum education requirements by providing evidence of direct supervision by the same physician, physician group, or physician assistant for a minimum of 2000 hours
Demonstration of good understanding of GE Centricity (EPM) and Allscripts (EMR)
Demonstrated experience with computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients required
Two (2) years previous MA experience
Previous experience in designated specialty
Bilingual Spanish skills
College level business coursework
