Join us now as a PBX Operator Intermediate in Telecommunications. The PBX Operator is responsible for using computer and telephony systems to quickly and kindly answer and appropriately route incoming calls. The PBX Operator handles and announces life safety code calls using multiple systems including overhead public address and digital paging systems. The incumbent communicates clearly and professional to achieve desired goals.
Basic computer skills including experience with Word and Excel
Ability to work under stress, fast paced and stay organized
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable and clear speaking voice when with making public address announcements
One year PBX operator experience or hospital-related experience
Bilingual Spanish speaker
Three years customer service experience, in a hospital PBX or high volume call center environment
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize during high stress situations (code scenarios).
