    The Nursing Manager is a skilled and experienced professional Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for excellence in the clinical practice of nursing, and management of patient care within the specific unit. The Nursing Manager's primary focus is the supervision of the Main OR/PACU personnel, management of operational activities, and coordination of patient care with other departments as necessary.
    The Nursing Manager is accountable for 24 hour supervision of ACU and OPSC operations. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

    Minimum Requirements:


    Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience in OR.


    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience. Magnet Hospital: BSN Required.


    Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.


     CNOR preferred

    • I year of management experience
    • Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN)
