Position Summary:
In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy, the Food Service Worker performs a variety of routine tasks related to the preparation, service and distribution of food for patients, staff and guests. Displays polite, Spirit of Service attitude to customers. Maintains friendly, efficient and responsive attitude toward customer during sales transactions. Assists in the care and maintenance of the cafeteria work areas, equipment and supplies. Assists as directed to facilitate the flow of work in the operations of kitchen procedures and food and supply distribution. Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives for quality assurance, safety and infection control.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years experience preferred.
