Responsibilities

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Projects &Employee Health, this position is responsible for transporting inpatients &outpatients, as well as specimens and supplies, to and from various areas of the hospital. The transportation of patients is done via gurneys, wheelchairs or hospital beds. Responsibilities may include:
 
  • Assists RN's in transporting non-stable patients.
  • Assists Radiology personnel in transferring patients onto and off x-ray tables.  

Minimum: 

  • Customer Service experience and experience dealing with the public is required.
  • Graduation from High School or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Patient Handling experience highly valued.
  • Hospital environment experience and CNA Certification preferred.

This is a temporary position.
