Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Staff Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.

 

Minimum:

    • One year emergency or critical care experience required.
    • Current California licensure as Professional Registered Nurse (CARN)
    • Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare providers Current certification in American Heart Association
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers
    • Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for healthcare providers.
    • CRT (Crisis Response Training) within 90 days of hire or transfer is required.
 

Preferred:

 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing preferred.
  • BSN preferred.

 

 

Qualifications
