Position Summary:
Under indirect supervision the incumbent is responsible for the direction of Operational programs, and other programs that may be assigned. The incumbent is also responsible for reporting, invoicing, licensing, permits, budgeting, and personnel-related tasks. The incumbent is responsible for all operational, financial, grants, supervisory and technical assistance of these programs. The incumbent will represent the agency in community involvement efforts. The incumbent also serves as the Executive Director in her/his absence for the organization. The incumbent reports to the Executive Director. Reporting to this position are: various management and operational and administrative support personnel.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four (4) years progressive experience in a not-for-profit organization with three years of reporting responsibilities
  • Masters degree in administration or in health and human services specialty. or a combination of education and experience in lieu of
  • Experience and/or training in gerontology. Understanding of the Older Americans Act
  • Strong administrative experience in financial reporting, budget administration and accrual accounting
