Position Summary:

In addition to clinical training in conjunction with an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with rotations in a Hospital setting, the incumbent must have professional experience as a licensed Technologist in a hospital or outpatient imaging center. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology for imaging, principles of operation and care of imaging equipment and accessories in a minimum of two modalities. Knowledge of Radiation Safety requirements and ALARA principles. Experience with RIS and PACS systems. Knowledge of routine radiographic procedures and patient preps, including medication utilization and administration (i.e.contrast). Knowledge of mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current Radiologic Technology license from the State of California (CRT), ARRT ( R ), current CPR and Fluoroscopy permit required.  
  • An additional ARRT certification in Mammography, or Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Dexa, Diagnostic or Vascular Ultrasound required.  
  • California license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Fluoroscopy permit must be obtained within 90 days of hire required.
