Responsibilities

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the position is responsible for scrub duties in the operating rooms, under the direction of the Perioperative Manager.
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have either one (1) year of previous acute hospital experience with certification within the past three (3) years in an Operating Room or
  • 5 years experience within the past three years in an acute care hospital. Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five (5) years preferred.
 
EDUCATION:
Graduate of high school or equivalency. Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program.
 
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/TRAINING:
  • Scrub technician certification required. In lieu of certification, hospital will accept 5 years of experience within the past three years in an acute care hospital.
  • Graduate of an accredited scrub technician program.
  • Completion of annual competencies and unit specific training.

Qualifications
