    Responsibilities

    Position Summary: 

    Supervises diagnostic imaging department operations (e.g. nuclear medicine, MRI, Radiology, etc.) and ensures compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities may include:

     

    •  Assists in developing policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improves patient experience. 
    • Supervises personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. 
    • Maintains the safety of diagnostic imaging service equipment and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public. 
    • Supervises diagnostic imaging services for several departments in compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. 
    • Assists in developing policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improve patient experience. 
    • Supervises personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. 
    • Maintains the safety of diagnostic imaging service equipment and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.

     

    Minimum: 

     

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing a variety of imaging examinations. 
    • Minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience. 
    • Graduate of an accredited imaging program required. 
    • Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure (may require state-specific fluoroscopy license). 
    • If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required. 
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience performing a variety of imaging examinations such as CT's, OR and General X-ray. Minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience. Graduate of an accredited imaging program required. Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure (may require state-specific fluoroscopy license). If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
