Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The incumbent will collect, cleanse and analyze data from digital products, platforms and marketing partners and communicate results back to business stakeholders. Using formal statistical modeling this role will work with enterprise level big-data sets to answer business questions, build prediction models and develop machine-learning algorithms.

 

In addition to advanced statistical analytics, this role will use in-depth knowledge of big data architecture and design to collect business requirements and translate them into technical solution requirements for the Office of Digital’s database team to implement. The incumbent will also act as a thought leader on developing measurement frameworks for the Office of Digital and will also serve as a resource within their area of expertise to provide guidance to the analytics team and also business stakeholders.

 

Core Duties:

  • Collect and clean data in order to perform exploratory data analysis and apply formal statistical modeling and communicate actionable results to business stakeholders in the form of a presentation or analytics web product
  • Develop attribution models identifying consumers through their digital journey and attribute conversions and ROI to digital products and features
  • Work with other analysts to map all consumer behavior to a unique identity, creating a holistic view of our consumer in order to perform analysis and data modeling to inform and power our personalization strategy
  • Work in collaboration with our CRM and DMP and Personalization teams to assist in statistical analysis and strategic planning
  • Translate business use cases into technical requirements to bring data into our enterprise data warehouse to support visual analytics, data science, machine learning and data provisioning to personalization and marketing orchestration platforms
  • Assist in the planning and creation of technical implementation documentation for web analytics tracking in Google Analytics

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis on digital products and experiences
  •  Requires:

    • Fluency in SQL (Hive, Impala) or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets
    • Experience with a statistical package such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.)
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SAS Visual Analytics, DOMO, etc.
    • Experience working with Google Analytics or equivalent web analytics tracking tool
    • Experience with tag management tools such as Tealium, Ensighten or other tag management platform
    • Working knowledge of “big data” systems, e.g., MongoDB, Cloudera, Hadoop, Azure, or equivalent.
    • Clear understanding of statistical analysis methodologies such as correlation, regression, probability, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, etc…
    • Design and build machine learning algorithms and predictive models for targeting and personalization.
    • Working knowledge of CRMs, DMPs, CMS, DAMs & marketing automation tools
    • Working knowledge of Sitecore’s web services, A/B testing and personalization platform

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Statistics or Data Science preferred
  • 3+ years Health Care industry experience preferred
