Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Groupat St Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center (SJHMC) in Phoenix, AZ is looking for Family Medicine physicians to join our Department of Family Practice.  Our Family Medicine Clinic is the continuity clinic of the St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Residency Program and is home to 40+ resident physicians and family physicians who comprise the core faculty of the residency program.

                                         

We have a need for both faculty and ambulatory physicians.

 

We are looking for high quality physicians who are compassionate, enthusiastic and have a strong interest in teaching.  Our residents and teaching faculty strive to provide personal, high quality, evidence-based primary care for chronic medical conditions, acute problems, health maintenance and prenatal care.  Our physicians typically follow pregnant patients throughout their prenatal course, deliver the baby and care for both mother and baby in the postpartum period and beyond.  Our ideal candidate will be board certified and bilingual in Spanish.

 

Qualifications

MD or DO Degree

Completed ACGME Residency and be BE/BC

A passion for providing clinically excellent care

Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure

Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
