    Physician Assistant - Perioperative Services

    The Physician Assistant participates in program development as it relates to the Operating Room. He/she is responsible, in coordination with the Perioperative Leadership, for developing and coordinating the day to day clinical operations to assure a smooth, efficient functioning Surgical Suite and the delivery of quality health care services in the pre, intra, and postoperative units. The physician assistant will maintain quality standards for responsive service including data management of key quality indicators.  The PA provides support, supervision, coordination and scheduling of the surgical patients.  Responsible for service levels to physicians and patients in the Perioperative Services.







    Minimum Requirements:

    • Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program
    • Current California PA-C certification
    • Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience in general surgery required
    • Two to three years OR experience with vascular surgery first assisting preferred
    • AHA BLS and ACLS card required
