Plans and delivers nutrition care of patients in accordance with the physicians' diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team to assess newly admitted patients identified as high nutritional risk. Develops nutrition plan of care as appropriate for patients of any age, including infants, children, adolescent , geriatric and the terminally ill patients. Is a member of the Food and Nutrition Management Team. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Requirements: 1 year experience working as a Dietitian in a hospital environment. Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field. Current ADA Registration.
