The Activity Leader plans, coordinates and implements a therapeutic activity program on a daily basis to meet the needs and interest of the residents on the unit. S/he is responsible for interviewing the residents and/or families to develop an appropriate Activities care plan based on the resident's interest and capabilities.
1 year experience in healthcare/TCU/SNF/Sub-Acute program. Qualified by completing at least 36hours of training in a course of activity approved by the California Department of Health Services. A High School Diploma or its equivalent. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field preferred. Good overall interpersonal skills, ability to work productively and effectively, ability to function well as a member of an interdisciplinary team, ability to represent the program well in interaction both inside and outside the host hospital. Position is represented by CHEU.
